INTRO FORMAT RULES

It is easy to speak but hard to convince. If you are good at the later, this is the place for you. Chameleon is an event testing your dynamic speaking skills. It will check the ability of the participants to change their viewpoint of speech instantly. Be it participant or audience, this event sure is going to be one hell of an entertainment. Don't miss it!

• This is an individual event.
• Online registration is compulsory -> CLICK HERE
• Each participant will be given a topic based on lucky draw.
• The participant will have 1 minute to speak about this topic.
• When the judge shows a green card, the participant will have to speak in favor of the given topic.
• When the judge shows a red card, the participant will have to speak against the topic instantly.

JUDGING CRITERIA:

The participants will be judged based on the following:

• Clarity of speech
• Quality of speech content
• Good natured humor may fetch extra points
• Use of derogatory or offensive words may result in points deduction or disqualification from the event.

• Usage of derogatory or offensive words is strictly prohibited.
• The event committee reserves the right to change the event format or rules without any notice.
• The decision of the judge is final and binding

Circuit Crackers get ready! Trip off your limits; Stay grounded; Overcome the resistance; Short circuits your ideas; Get charged; Its all about debugging! Think you are good at it? Then is what you have been waiting for....

• The students will be provided with a design of popular circuits. 
• Each circuit will have some error or anomaly.
• The participant will have to identify the error in the circuit and provide the correction.
• The participant who gets the maximum score or the participant who completes first will be the winner.

Let the battle of the brains begin! Do you have what it takes to beat the SPARX 14 quiz master? Come and join the Tech Quiz at SPARX 14. Its not only a place to win amazing prizes but also a great opportunity to learn.

This event comprises of a preliminary round and an on-stage final round.

Preliminary Round: It is a written test comprising of questions from fundamentals.
Final Round: This is the on-stage round. It will have 5 sub-rounds. Further details will be published later.

• A team shall consist of two members.
• The participants will not be allowed to use mobile phones or other electronic instruments during the event.
• The event committee reserves the right to change the format or rules of the event anytime without notice.
• The decision of the quiz master is final and binding.

Do you have a pet project that you have been working on and wanted to show it off to someone? Well then this is the event for you! Bring out your models of a future world. Bring out the innovation. Bring out the phenomenon. Welcome to Sparx14 project expo!

The event will have three Rounds -
Round 1: The participants will be provided 15 min for explaining the project to the jury.
Round 2: Project execution (kit demonstration)
Round 3: Queries

• Each team can consist of 4 students

• The selected projects will be intimated on 8th Feb.

Any innovative and interesting project related to Electrical / Electronics stream will be considered.

JUDGING CRITERIA:

• Originality of idea
• Explanation
• Demonstration of the kit
• Response to queries

• The abstract should not exceed 1000 words.
• The abstract should be in standard document extension (.doc, .docx, .pdf)
• The student should bring 2 hard copies of the abstract
• Respective college ID card is compulsory for all participants.
• Dress code is professional attire.
• The event committee reserves the right to change the rules or format of the event without notice.
• The decision of the judges is final and binding.

Knowledge and intellect mean little without the mandatory qualities of imagination. The SPARX 14 paper presentation is one that focuses not on highlighting and appreciating novel ideas in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Covering the diverse fields and technology, the competition will help students display their academic achievements on a larger scale, and expose their work to a broader audience.

• Each team can consist of two authors
• The time provided is 8 minutes (6 minutes for presentation and 2 minutes for queries).

• The selected papers will be intimated on 8th Feb.

• Practical implementation

• The paper should be in IEEE format.
• All standard document extensions are accepted for the paper (.doc, .docx, .pdf)
• The presentation should also be saved in standard extension (.ppt or .pptx)
• The content should be original work of the author.
• The student should bring 2 hard copies of the paper.
• Respective college ID card is compulsory for all participants.
• The students are expected to complete the presentation within the stipulated time. Time extension will not be provided.
• The dress code is professional attire.
• The event committee reserves the right to change the rules and format of the presentation without notice. 
• The decision of the judges is final and binding.
